An Important Message from IAFF 4th DVP Taylor
Posted On: Nov 01, 2012

Good Morning Brothers and Sisters in the 4th District -

With the brunt of Hurricane Sandy hitting the Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland shores on Monday, I'm certain that some of our members and their families have been affected.

With flooding and structural damage, coupled with power outages to contend with, your union wants to assist you and your families in any way possible.  If you know of brothers or sisters living around you - please take a moment to follow-up with them to see if they need anything.

If you are in an area of declared State of Emergency with federal assistance approved and you sustained significant property damage that meets the definition of the IAFF's Disaster Relief Program sent out previously, you are urged to contact Lisa Aaron from the IAFF as soon as possible at 202-824-1571 or LAaron@iaff.org<mailto:LAaron@iaff.org>. More on the IAFF Disaster Relief Program with great post-storm resources here: http://www.iaff.org/hs/disasterrelief/index.html<http://www.facebook.com/l/KAQEw97jF/www.iaff.org/hs/disasterrelief/index.html>.

Please keep our members and their families who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy in your thoughts and prayers and let me know if there is anything that your union can do for you by contacting me at wtaylor@iaff.org<mailto:wtaylor@iaff.org>.

Be safe out there!

Fraternally,

DVP Bill Taylor
