Bethlehem Fire Fighters Ride for Cancer

2 Bethlehem firefighters FF Bob Simons and FF Kevin Landis will be participating in the Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride against Cance in July. This is a 6 day bicycle ride across the state of Pa that covers over 600 miles and they are expected to ride 100 miles a day, after each day of riding they will meet with local groups to speak with them about the cause and tell actual stories of families that have directly benefited from their efforts.. It starts in Erie and will end in Palmerton. 95 cents of every dollar will directly benefit terminally ill children as well as those with life threatening conditions. The event is run by the American Cancer Society and Dream Come True. These 2 firefighters have been training very hard and need to raise donations for the ride. If anyone is interested in donating they can make a check payable to the American Cancer Society and it can be sent to 4016 Oakland Rd. Bethlehem Pa 18020.
