IAFF Local 4792, The Washington County EMS Professionals, are hosting a chill cookoff at the Cecil Township #2 Fire Hall on Sunday November 22. That is the Steelers bye week and yes the date was picked with that in mind. What we are looking for are chilli cookers and eaters. And we'd like to make this primarily a Fire/EMS based competition. But we welcome anyone wishing to enter the competition. The doors will open at 2:00 for set up. Judging will begin at 3:30. The doors for the event will open at 4:00 for the public. We are looking to do a couple of raffles during the event. The entry application is attached. So bring your best batch of chilli, your union/department colors, and as many eaters to stuff the ballot box as you wish to bring.
